Burness Paull lawyers working across the full range of commercial legal specialisms have been recognised in the 2024 edition of the Legal 500 directory – a leading guide to law firms and lawyers in the UK that is published today.

The firm achieved 38 practice area and 70 individual rankings in the Legal 500 2024 directory.

The Legal 500 has been analysing the capabilities of law firms across the world since 1987 and its rankings assess the strengths of lawyers and firms in more than 150 jurisdictions.

Its research is based on feedback from 300,000 clients worldwide, submissions from law firms and interviews with leading private practice lawyers, supplemented by a team of researchers who have considerable experience in the legal market.

Mark Ellis, managing partner at Burness Paull, said: “It’s fantastic to have such a strong cohort of Burness Paull lawyers, spanning the full range of our practice areas, recognised in this year’s Legal 500 directory.

“This is testament to the strength and depth of talent we have right across the firm and at all levels – with a growing group of established, highly respected practitioners being closely followed by the next generation of rising stars.

“We are very grateful to those clients who provided their feedback, which contributes heavily to these rankings.”
