Andrew is a partner in our Construction & Projects team who provides holistic non-contentious and contentious support for construction, engineering and public infrastructure projects. He drafts and negotiates contracts, provides ongoing risk mitigation advice during construction and resolves disputes through litigation, arbitration, adjudication and mediation.
Andrew has extensive experience in civil engineering projects using NEC contracts and public infrastructure projects under the hub programme. He enjoys understanding the key technical and commercial challenges in a project and maintains a clear focus on mitigating and managing risk throughout.
The Ports & Harbours sector is a key area of Andrew’s practice where he is regularly involved in infrastructure developments in the marine environment. He has a keen interest in this thriving sector with its mixed economy of private, municipal and trust ports and advises clients in relation to statutory powers and duties under Harbour legislation including Harbour Empowerment Orders and Harbour Revision Orders under the Harbours Act 1964.
