Ninety-five Burness Paull experts across a range of legal specialisms have been recognised in the 2024 edition of the Chambers and Partners guide, a widely respected directory of legal experts around the world.

Following months of in-depth research, including interviews with peers and clients, 39 of the firm’s practice areas were ranked, and 95 of our lawyers achieved individual rankings in their practice areas.

Burness Paull’s rankings also include a strong cohort of Up and Coming lawyers and Associates to Watch, who are recognised for their contributions behind the scenes of major deals and who will no doubt step into the spotlight as their careers develop. Peter Lawson, Burness Paull’s chair, has once-again been recognised as an Eminent Practitioner.

The Chambers guide describes itself as the “definitive mark of excellence across the legal industry” and undertakes a rigorous assessment of law firms and individual lawyers to compile the annual rankings. The qualities on which rankings are assessed include technical legal ability, client service, diligence and professional conduct.

This news follows on from the firm’s strong showing in the Legal 500 rankings earlier in October.
