We continue to support clients on matters related to the aftermath of the Covid 19 pandemic including public inquiries and care home deaths. We are also providing immigration guidance to clients on healthcare visas to combat workforce issues.

We are regarded as leading advisors in relation to complex project deals in the Scottish Healthcare sector. We advised the private sector project company on the construction of the largest health centre in Scotland and continue to assist NHS Lothian in relation to strategy, delivery and ongoing management of the eight local vaccine centres which have replaced the mass centres which we advised on during the pandemic. We act in one capacity or another in relation to all health facilities delivered through the hub model in both the Greater Glasgow and Greater Edinburgh areas.

We have also recently strengthened our Public Law team providing services to Governments and Government bodies on healthcare matters.

Care & Community

Our team is highly regarded in the care home sector. Alongside a range of significant clients in the market, we are also on the Scottish Care Association’s Legal Select Panel, a legal services referral system to provide advice to their members. We remain very active across a number of high-profile property acquisitions and corporate disposals in the care sector.

Private Healthcare

We have consistently expanded our services in the private healthcare market, advising private sector primary care clients on their options to become involved in the provision of GP services in the Scottish market and delivering on their first two projects in the Aberdeen area. We are also exploring options for the construction and operation of a new private hospital in the Edinburgh area.
