Claire is a partner in our employment team and leads our employment energy group.  She has more than 24 years’ experience advising employers on the full spectrum of contentious and non-contentious employment law matters, with a particular focus on offshore working.

Claire has a proven track record in helping employers navigate sensitive and high-profile disputes. She provides advice to boards and advises on complex employment tribunal litigation in particular discrimination and whistleblowing cases, complex investigations and trade union disputes and industrial action. She also provides commercial and expert advice on strategic projects such as restructuring, redundancy, outsourcing, and TUPE and has led some of the largest and most high-profile change projects in the UK.

Additionally, Claire has considerable experience with cross-border projects, the employment aspects of corporate transactions, and offshore working arrangements including holiday pay and seafarer regulations, making her a trusted advisor for businesses operating in diverse markets. 

As well as her experience the energy sector, Claire has particular expertise in the infrastructure and financial services sectors.

Claire was awarded Employment Lawyer of the Year by Legal 500 and is listed as a Next Generation Partner.
