Burness Paull is proud to sponsor the Presidential Initiative at the Royal Highland Show 2023, the biggest event in the agricultural and rural business calendar.

This year the Presidential Initiative theme is “The Science of Food & Drink”, raising awareness of the critical role that science plays in our food & drink sector.

Burness Paull’s Head of Rural Business, Linda Tinson, is a current Vice President of the Royal Highland and Agricultural Society of Scotland Presidential Team and has played a major role in overseeing the organisation of the event.

Linda said: “It is an absolute privilege to serve on the RHASS Presidential Team and comes at a very exciting time, just after my team and I joined Burness Paull.

Food & drink plays a vital role in Scotland’s economy. We’re seeing such innovation in production methods that it’s a natural choice for this year’s theme, and we’ll have some amazing products and production methods on display.

The Show is a great opportunity for the agricultural community to come together and celebrate the best in agriculture, livestock and rural activities, while engaging with one another and sharing challenges and experiences.

I’m really looking forward to getting along to the Show with colleagues from across the firm, catching up with client and friends and meeting new connections."

The Burness Paull team will be represented throughout the Show, with colleagues from rural business, private client, family, immigration, real estate and planning and environment attending.
