Steven is a solicitor in our Banking and Finance and Funds teams. On the banking side, Steven advises sponsors, lenders, corporate borrowers, and funds in relation to Scottish, English, and cross-border finance transactions. His experience covers acquisition/leveraged financings, real estate financings, and fund financings.
On the funds side, Steven advises on the formation, structuring and closing of private investment funds, routinely advising private equity houses, fund managers, City and US firms, and other international clients.
Steven previously spent six months on a client secondment working with the corporate legal team at Scottish Power UK plc, where he gained an invaluable insight into the key commercial considerations involved in a deal and what really matters to clients.
