Scott is a senior solicitor in our Technology and Commercial team. Scott specialises in advising clients on commercial contracts, IP / IT law and all areas of data protection and GDPR compliance.
Scott advises on a wide variety of commercial contracts, including: IT services agreements; IP licences; software as a service (SaaS) agreements; technology licence agreements; transitional services agreements; and supplier terms and conditions.
Scott has extensive experience of advising a range of clients on compliance with the GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018 and ePrivacy legislation – this includes providing legal advice to online retailers, life science companies, financial services companies, and pension trustees.
Scott also has significant in-house experience, having previously completed secondments with Scottish Power and a major UK bank.
Scott has a strong understanding of each client’s key requirements and demonstrates a commercial approach when providing legal advice.
