Chris specialises in the fields of projects and construction work and is a recognised expert in both areas. For nearly two decades he has led the firm's involvement for a range of clients both private and public in various sectors on PFI, PPP, NPD and hub. He has an extensive knowledge and experience of managing the projects process, including advising on procurement, negotiated procedure and competitive dialogue.
Over a similar period he has advised a wide range of clients, public and private, on construction procurement and on construction dispute resolution advising on high value arbitrations (including International ICC), adjudications, litigations and mediations.
Chris also has considerable experience of work related to ports and harbours, including advising on harbour legislation.
He is a Law Society of Scotland accredited expert in both Construction and Arbitration, a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and has experience of acting as an independent expert regarding solicitor professional negligence.
