Richard is a partner in our Commercial Real Estate team specialising in residential and commercial real estate development acting for a range of developers, housebuilders, hoteliers, landowners, funders, occupiers and investors in relation to development work.

His main areas of expertise include land acquisitions and site assemblies for developers, promotion of strategic land, major HQ projects and new office developments, hotel development, leasing, forward sales and commitments, investment acquisitions and wind farm developments.  He is also head of the firm’s housebuilding sector group, coordinating activities of the real estate, planning and construction teams for various housebuilding clients.

Richard has been involved in the creation of a number of complex and bespoke consortium, joint venture, infrastructure and development agreements which are increasingly required to facilitate development and resolve the challenges to procuring development in the changed financial climate.
