Olivia is a senior associate in our energy team who specialises in the property aspects of renewable energy projects.

She is dual qualified in Scotland and England & Wales and has significant experience acting for developers, landowners and funders in connection with energy developments across a range of technologies including onshore wind, offshore wind, battery storage, solar, floating solar PV and energy from waste projects. She also regularly provides property input on renewables M&A and financing transactions.

Recent projects include advising North Kyle Wind Farm Limited (Brockwell Energy) on the project development and subsequent £190m debt financing of the 220.5MW North Kyle Wind Farm, advising BayWa r.e. UK Limited on the sale of Dalquhandy Wind Farm to Greencoat UK Wind PLC, and advising MUFG Bank as agent / adviser to the funding syndicate in relation to the Scots law aspects of the £2bn financing of the 882-megawatt Moray West Offshore Wind Farm.

Olivia developed and leads our Future Leaders Across the Renewable Energy Sector (FLARES) client relationship development programme and was the winner of the Professional Service Award at the Scottish Renewables’ Young Professionals Green Energy Awards 2021.
