Louise is a dual qualified senior associate in our Public Law and Regulatory division, qualified in both Scotland and England & Wales.

Louise is a public law specialist, working with clients across the sector, including global commercial organisations, statutory organisations, regulators, and public bodies. She works closely with clients on contentious and non-contentious regulatory issues, focusing on providing the most straightforward and strategic advice to clients in order to secure the best result possible.

Louise has particular experience in contentious matters, with experience across litigation at all levels of the court system, and hands on advocacy experience.  Her recent litigation experience includes procurement challenges, statutory appeals, commercial actions, and public law challenges.  She works on high profile judicial reviews, inquiries, and regulatory investigations, for both public and private sector clients.

Louise is recognised by the market, having won Legal 500 public sector lawyer of the year 2023. She is ranked as an associate to watch in administrative and public law by Chambers, and a leading associate in parliamentary affairs by Legal 500.
