Kate is a senior associate in our Employment team. She is experienced in providing advice and support to both employers and individuals on all aspects of employment law having specialised in the field for the last decade. This has included advice on disciplinaries & grievances; redundancies or restructures; managing performance & sickness absences; employment contracts; and settlement agreements. She also provides the necessary advice on TUPE and other corporate support as part of corporate transactions and has experience of conducting investigations on behalf of clients. She has significant advocacy experience from representing clients in both the Employment Tribunal and the First-Tier Tribunal for Scotland.

Kate is a member of the Employment Lawyers’ Association and was previously on its pro-bono committee. In the past Kate has tutored on the Diploma in Legal Practice at the University of Edinburgh.
