Burness Paull has been named UK corporate law firm of the year at the inaugural Insider Media UK Dealmakers Awards 2025, which recognised the organisations and individuals who power the UK's dealmaking landscape.
Having won the award for corporate law firm of the year at the Scotland Dealmakers Awards in November, Burness Paull advanced to the UK finals and was shortlisted in the corporate law firm of the year category alongside other regional winners.
The firm was announced as the winner at the ceremony held at the International Convention Centre in Birmingham, with the judging panel remarking: “Burness Paull wowed the judges with its great range of deals and quality testimonials from high-profile clients. It completed more than 150 transactions in the submission period, worth more than £5bn.”
