In this month's law lab webinar, Gavin McQueen and Ross MacKenzie, Associates in our employment team, discussed recent trends in employment tribunal cases.

From an increasing number of claims to the growing influence of artificial intelligence, employment tribunals are entering a new era. This session explored the first AI-related guidance concerning interim relief cases, lessons emerging from other jurisdictions, and the impact that the Employment Rights Act 2025 could have on future claim numbers, as well as some interesting case law concerning AI use in litigation.

James Ritchie, Senior Associate in our immigration team, joined to discuss the right to work changes which are in force from 1 October 2026.

If you missed the live webinar, listen to the recording below to learn more about recent trends in employment tribunal cases and the new right to work changes.

If you would like to discuss any of the issues raised during the session, please get in touch with our employment and immigration team.
