Stephen is a partner in the Dispute Resolution team, with a track history of helping clients resolve their commercial disputes.

He is dual qualified in Scotland and in England & Wales and is involved in commercial litigation in a variety of sectors, with a particular interest in disputes in the real estate, sports and telecommunications sectors.

Within property disputes, he advises clients in both the public and private sectors on a wide range of contentious property issues, with particular experience in landlord and tenant disputes. He also acts for operators under the Electronic Communications Code.

Stephen has experience in high-value commercial litigation and sports disputes (including disciplinary and governance issues, as well as contractual disputes), and he conducts litigation in courts of all levels. He is a keen advocate of alternative dispute resolution is regularly involved in arbitration, expert determination and mediation.

Stephen is a member of the Property Litigation Association and the British Association for Sport and Law. He is ranked by independent legal directory Legal 500 in both Sports Law and in Real Estate Litigation.
