Peter Chambers is head of our real estate division. He has substantial and wide-ranging commercial real estate experience, with a particular focus on housebuilding and residential development (acting for developers, housebuilders and housing associations), commercial development, real estate finance, and retail and leisure leasing.

In addition, Peter heads up our living sector group, dealing with alternative/operational residential assets, which includes purpose-built student accommodation, build to rent and private rental, affordable / social housing and later living.

Peter is dual-qualified under Scots and English law, and sits on the firm’s Governance and Strategy Board, playing a significant role in shaping the long term direction of the firm.

Peter Chambers has considerable expertise and knowledge of the housing sector specifically and is a recognised industry expert in the property and land acquisition sector generally. Peter has extensive experience in complex land transactions and the construction sector making him ideally placed to advise on anything from more conventional property deals to innovative and specialist deals. His extensive experience means that he can apply knowledge and solutions to complex issues. He is a pleasure to work with because of his calm and confident manner.
