Joanna is divisional head of our Dispute Resolution team. She advises on a wide range of commercial disputes, often multi-party cross-border claims. She has unrivalled experience in group litigation, and regularly advises on high profile international group / class actions.
Joanna also leads our Chambers UK band 1 ranked product liability team. She advises UK and foreign manufacturers in a wide range of consumer industries including technology, automotive, pharmaceutical, medical device, food & drink and consumer products.
She is qualified as a solicitor in Scotland, England and Hong Kong. Originally training with Clifford Chance in London and Frankfurt, and then working for Hogan Lovells in Hong Kong and London, before returning to Scotland in 2007.
Joanna is listed as the only practitioner in Scotland in Who’s Who Legal Product Liability Defence.
