Chris is a director in our planning team with over 15 years’ experience acting for a wide variety of clients in both the private and public sector. Chris is qualified to practice in England and Wales so advises clients on both sides of the border.
Chris advises on all aspects of planning law, with a particular focus on large-scale regeneration schemes, compulsory purchase orders, and energy & infrastructure consenting regimes (both on and off-shore). Chris also has a wealth of experience negotiating planning and infrastructure agreements for developer clients and undertaking corporate due diligence on the buyer, lender and investor side.
Chris is recognised as a “key lawyer” in the Legal500 Rankings and regularly speaks at seminars and round-table sessions on various aspects of planning law.
Chris is a committee member of the Compulsory Purchase Association (Scotland).
