We believe the best way to know if working in an industry is right for you is to experience it.
That’s why we offer a range of legal work experience placements built around you.
We’ve partnered with PRIME to offer students in S4 to S6 the opportunity to participate in a structured law work experience placement to learn first-hand what it’s like to work at a top-tier law firm. The placements take place in October at either our Aberdeen, Edinburgh or Glasgow offices.
PRIME is an alliance of law firms across the UK committed to improving access to the legal profession through law work experience.
As a firm, we believe the legal sector should be open to talent from all economic backgrounds. Hence, we accept work experience applications from those who meet the PRIME criteria and those who don’t.
How to apply for work experience
Applications for our legal work experience and business services work experience programmes will open in August each year. Please register your interest below, and we will get in touch with more information in due course.
Legal Insight Days
In addition to our work experience programme, we host Insight Days twice a year, in April and October, for students in S4 to S6. These events provide a valuable opportunity to gain first-hand experience of life at a leading law firm, build your understanding of the legal profession, and connect with our team of legal professionals. Keep an eye out for registration for these events.
