Stephen is a senior associate in the Dispute Resolution team and is a key member of our property disputes and sports law teams.
He advises clients in both the public and private sectors on a wide range of contentious property issues including: lease disputes, irritancy, dilapidations, title conditions, servitudes, travellers, and evictions. He also has experience in the telecommunications sector, acting for operators under the Communications Code.
In addition to property disputes, Stephen has experience in high-value commercial litigation and the provision of disciplinary advice. As a member of our sports law team he provides dispute and regulatory advice to clients in the sports sector. He is ranked by independent legal directory Legal 500 as a rising star in Sports Law:

He conducts litigation in the Sheriff Court, the Court of Session and the Lands Tribunal. He is also regularly involved in arbitration, expert determination and mediation.
Stephen is a member of the Property Litigation Association and the British Association for Sport and Law. He is also a tutor on the civil litigation course on the Diploma in Professional Legal Practice at the University of Strathclyde.
