Ryan specialises in the real estate aspects of renewable energy projects.
Ryan has significant experience acting for funders and investors on major renewables M&A and financing transactions across a range of technologies, including onshore and offshore wind, biomass, solar and battery energy storage.
Ryan also has experience advising developers of onshore wind and battery energy storage on real estate aspects of renewable energy developments, in particular all aspects related to securing land rights relating to project development. He has also acted for commercial and residential property developers on Scottish property purchases of development sites.
Ryan is an active member of AIJA, the International Association of Young Lawyers.
