Jane is a highly experienced Construction lawyer and Commercial Mediator, in our Construction and Projects team. She is qualified in Scotland, England & Wales and is dual accredited by the Law Society of Scotland as a Specialist in Construction Law and a Specialist in Commercial Mediation.

Jane has specialised in construction law for over 15 years, in particular dispute resolution. She has extensive experience of standard form and bespoke contracts and advising in complex and high value disputes across dispute fora. Jane’s role in our Construction and Projects team focuses on knowledge and development in Construction law – dealing with difficult legal and commercial issues, analysing future developments and supporting her team to deliver excellent client service every day.

Jane has been a Commercial Mediator since 2012 and is regularly appointed as Mediator in a wide range of disputes. Parties have described Jane’s mediation service as “excellent and worthwhile”, providing “invaluable input”.
