The Burness Paull Foundation is proud to support both Team Scotland and Team England as they head off to Norway for the Homeless World Cup this weekend.
Running from 23 – 30 August in Rådhusplassen, Oslo’s City Hall Square, the tournament will bring together over 500 players from 48 countries around the world for a celebration of football and friendship
As part of the firm’s longstanding partnership with Street Soccer, the Burness Paull Foundation has sponsored Team Scotland since 2016. For the first time this year, the Foundation is now a proud sponsor of the team representing England at the event.
Peter Lawson, chair at Burness Paull and a trustee of the Burness Paull Foundation said: “I’m very excited to see how the Street Soccer teams get on in Oslo this weekend. As a firm we’ve cheered on Team Scotland for many years and look forward to doing do again. In recognition of the fantastic work they are doing across the city, it is brilliant that Street Soccer London are official partner for Team England and I’m delighted the Burness Paull Foundation is now also a sponsor to them. It is always a privilege and inspiration to hear about the lifechanging experiences the players have while taking part in the tournament and I’m sure this year will be no different. I wish both teams the very best of luck!”
