As lockdown starts to ease and businesses plan ahead for a safe return to work, risk assessment is at the top of the agenda for most organisations.

Whether it’s updating workplace layouts and introducing protocols to comply with public health guidance, or the many issues to be taken into account to make sure employees feel safe and supported in new ways of working, there’s lots to be considered.

Tracking and tracing apps for example throw up all sorts of questions around employee rights and data protection angles, and working from home brings about a great deal of flexibility but also challenges such as cyber security and balancing employees’ needs and wants with those of the business.

These are just some examples of the issues we cover in our coming out of lockdown webinar, covering the legal duties and potential liabilities involved in protecting your people and your business coming out of lockdown. We look at the practical steps businesses should be taking as we get ready for the next stage of what is hopefully a return to some kind of normality.
