Jordan is a senior associate in our energy team and has advised a range of utilities, independent developers, investors, and contractors on renewable energy projects.
He advises on acquisitions and disposals of energy projects (including onshore wind, offshore wind and battery storage) and the drafting and negotiation of the key project and construction contracts, as well as regulatory advice in relation to energy projects. He has a particular focus on advising on the regulatory and contractual arrangements for grid connection and cable construction. Jordan also has extensive experience advising on power purchase agreements for both developers and offtakers.
Through his close involvement in a Scottish CCUS and hydrogen project, Jordan has expertise in the legal elements of energy transition projects. Jordan is well placed to advise across CCUS and hydrogen supply chains on how best to allocate risk within a nascent market as well as giving strategic regulatory advice.
