Jemma is a senior solicitor in our Planning & Environment Team with a broad range of experience working on planning, environmental and licensing matters.  

Jemma regularly works with clients in a variety of sectors from housebuilders to renewable developers on planning matters. She has experience in advising clients across sectors on many aspects of planning process from advising on application strategy, planning procedures, planning policy, planning applications, negotiating planning agreements, call-in applications and appeals. 

Jemma frequently provides environmental law advice to clients working in a variety of sectors. She has provided advice to clients on many environmental permitting issues, contaminated land concerns as well as legislative and policy developments. 

Jemma also advises clients on liquor and civic licensing matters. Jemma has experience in advising clients through all liquor licence applications from initial application discussions through to representing clients at licensing boards. She also has experience in providing advice to clients on a variety of civic licences. 

Jemma is also an active committee member of Women in Planning Central Scotland Branch who helps host their monthly coffee catch up in Glasgow and organises frequent networking events.
