The world of retail and leisure has never seen such rapid change.

As the transition out of lockdown becomes a reality in Scotland we have been talking to retailers, operators, advisers and trade bodies on the front line – with video phones at the ready. Eat, Shop, Stay – Watch will share real world experience, insights and ideas from those who have lived through, and learned from, the lockdown experience.

Cottiers & Websters are two very unique theatre and events space venues containing bar and restaurant offerings in the West End of Glasgow. In the fourth episode of Eat, Shop, Stay – Watch David Robertson, Director of Four Acres Charitable Trust, owner of these venues, tells us how they managed to tackle the serious impact lockdown had on the sector, what changes were made to business operations and how their creative approach and flexible venue space has put them in a strong position.
