Join us for our next free employment law webinar on Tuesday 22 July (12:30-13:30).

As you will no doubt have spotted, there have been some significant developments in the progress of the Employment Rights Bill (ERB) over the last few weeks, including a roadmap (outlining indicative timescales for consultations and effective dates for the proposed changes) as well as some substantial amendments to the previous proposals.

Given the importance of the ERB to all HR and in house legal professionals, we will be dedicating this month’s law lab to this topic and will provide you with an overview of the current status of the ERB, together with details of the timescales for consultations and implementation dates. There will be a particular focus on the proposed changes to trade union law as well as the much debated “fire and rehire” proposals, which will both be coming down the track sooner rather than later and will inevitably have a significant impact on employers and their risk register.

As always, we would be delighted to see you (virtually) for this session and we will circulate a recording if you’re not able to make it in real time.

Meantime, if you have any questions on the ERB and how it might impact your organisation, please feel free to get in touch with your usual Burness Paull contact.

We hope you can join us!
