Rory is a senior associate in our energy team, specialising in corporate transactions. He has experience advising clients in the energy sector on private equity investments, capital markets transactions, M&A and general corporate advisory matters.
Rory’s recent experience includes advising:
- EDP Renewables’ on the acquisition of the Balnacraig 50MW battery storage project;
- On the acquisition of a number of onshore wind projects (some by way of joint venture) for a major UK utility company; and
- AIM-listed Savannah Energy on two reverse takeover transactions and related fundraisings.
Rory also has in-house experience having spent time on secondment to Smart Metering Systems and a major UK utility company.
