Bringing a loved one to live with you or extending their rights to remain in the UK has often been a topic of much scrutiny.

The latest findings in a report released in May 2025 by the Office of National Statistics (ONS) confirmed net migration to the UK in 2024 to be around 430,000. Around 76,000 of these were family visas. Most applicants were nationals of Pakistan, India, China and Nigeria.

The procedural stages for application differ between countries and this can cause confusion. We have prepared guides to applying for UK visas from some of the most common countries we see applicants from.

Our Head of Family Migration, Amna Ashraf, has practiced in this area for over 12 years. She is well regarded in the family migration practice as bringing ease to the process whilst maintaining her high success rate for clients based all over the world.

Amna and the team are on hand to help those who are already undergoing or preparing to embark on their immigration journey.

Please get in touch for more information, no matter where in the world you are currently based, and let’s discuss how we can help you and your family.
