Jamie is frequently instructed on high-stakes and sensitive matters, including sponsor compliance, strategic visa planning and complex immigration disputes.

Jamie also advises on immigration issues arising in public, institutional and international contexts, and regularly appears before the courts and tribunals in complex immigration and visa matters.

He is a recognised commentator on UK migration policy and global mobility, with a particular focus on the role of international talent in strategic sectors such as energy and space and its importance to economic growth. He regularly speaks at conferences and industry forums and has contributed to discussions on immigration policy at a strategic level.
