Michael has over 25 years’ experience advising major clients on a range of competition law matters. He has specialised in competition law work since he moved to Brussels to work in the competition team of the European Commission legal service in 1993.
He has worked in a broad range of sectors but has particular depth of experience in the energy and utility markets, the food and beverage sector and transportation including rail, airports and airlines. He has an LL.M. in European and Comparative Law from the University of Brussels and a postgraduate diploma in Competition from the Queen Mary, University of London.
